Link Chain Earrings
the Link Earrings represent the digital and physical link between two contrasting individuals, featuring pink princess-cut cubic zirconias that represent data being sent from one device to another.
the unique kinetic element of the earrings reflect how the connection between two people is continuously shifting and changing over time.
part of my “Re-Establishing Connection” collection debuting at Shine 2023 in London at The Goldsmiths’ Centre 🌟 and designed as a celebration of being able to re-establish connections in person after an extended period of isolation within the recent pandemic.
materials:
3D printed in bubblegum pink and mint green PLA
stone-set with multiple cubic zirconia stones.
finished with sterling silver wire and earring posts
dimensions:
each earring measures:
40 mm height x 20 mm length x 12 mm depth.
aftercare:
3D printed items should be stored in a dry place, away from water + direct sunlight. similar to other dyed items, sunlight will fade the colour of the pieces over time and the design can lose its vibrancy.
avoid bending the pieces as this can weaken their structure and cause them to break :’(
avoid contact with perfume/hairspray/lotions etc as this can discolour and/or tarnish the jewellery. it’s recommended to put on your jewellery as your last step when getting ready to prevent this!
remove all jewellery before water-based activities like showering and swimming.
